RECIPE OF THE MOMENT: Gingery Limeade

This tart and tasty recipe is adapted from one created by Ann Louise Gittleman. I like to use sparkling mineral water for an extra celebratory feeling. To amp up the ‘wow’ factor- serve in champagne flutes or garnish with lime wedges.

Yield: 4 Servings  

Ingredients

  • Juice of 3 or 4 limes
  • 2 tbsp. of finely grated ginger (or, like me, you can cheat and use Ginger People’s minced ginger)
  • 1 dropperful of liquid stevia, or honey to taste
  • 4 cups sparkling mineral water

Instructions

Combine 4 cups of sparkling water with all ingredients into a large pitcher. Mix or whisk well, chilling before serving.
