A Quick Low Down on Detoxification by Kelly Ross

March 19, 2014
March 19, 2014

CLIENT: “Is Detoxing Right for ME?”

KELLY ROSS, HEALTH COACH: “Well, do you suffer from:”

  • Bloating
  • Headaches
  • Joint Pain
  • Itchy Skin
  • Cravings (sweet or salty)
  • Sleeplessness
  • Constipation
  • Brain Fog
  • Irritability
  • Sluggishness

If you answered YES to even two of these symptoms, chances are, a simple 3-day to even a comprehensive 21-day detox could rid you of many of these symptoms that we often think is just “part of living”. Detoxing doesn’t have to consist of restrictive regimens that can make us feel deprived and depleted. Detoxing can be gentle and long lasting often by changing a few simple things such as drinking lemon water every day. I have witnessed people who take small steps to eliminate toxins from their life show improved physical and mental health in as little as three days.

CLIENT: “So where do toxins come from?”

KELLY ROSS, HEALTH COACH:

  • Pollution
  • Metals
  • Pesticdes
  • Alcohol
  • Perscription Drugs
  • Food additives

CLIENT: “What can I expect from detoxing?”

KELLY ROSS, HEALTH COACH: “Depending on what type and the length of the detox, you may encounter:”

  • Headaches
  • Mood Swings
  • Fatigue
  • Minor Flu-like Symptoms
  • Gas, Diarrhea or Constipation

CLIENT: “How will I feel after detoxing?”

KELLY ROSS, HEALTH COACH:

  • Increased ENERGY!
  • Reduced Cravings
  • Improved Mental Focus
  • Improved Digestion
  • A JUMP START on Weight Loss
  • Improved Immunity
  • Improved Mood

Before embarking on any detox, I always have clients SET AN INTENTION by answering the following questions:

Why do I want to detox?

What do I want from this detox?

How will my life be different if I do a detox?

How will I look and feel after this detox?

How much do I want this?

Am I ready and open to do this?

Detoxing is not a “quick fix”. Most people do lose “some” weight, but I always impress on the fact that weight loss is more of a “by-product” of most detoxes. Yes,

you will feel more energy and have improved mental clarity. However, lasting improvement to overall health & wellness requires healthy choices as to what we

put into our bodies each and every day. Detoxing is an excellent way to ignite the desire to “lean in” to our desire to live a healthier and sustainable lifestyle.

A Vibrant Life

I've studied nutrition and fitness from a variety of experts for over 20 years. In this time I've come to understand that no diet, nor exercise plan, is right for every body. Your body has a unique set of needs, and by listening and exploring, you and I can learn the language of your body and begin giving it what it needs, so that greater energy, vibrancy, health and happiness can be yours!

A healthy body is a platform for an abundant, vibrant life. It's all yours for the taking. Are you ready for it?
